How do you change tie rods on a 2003 chevy impala?

Inner tie rods or tie rod ends?
How do you change tie rods on a 2003 chevy impala?
i own a repair shop, and you need a tie rod end remover to use on it,and you need to count the threads on it and get it as close back to the old one as you can when you install it,then you,ll have to get it re-aligned to make it drive right other wise it will eat your tires up on it real bad,it would be a better idea to have it done because most people don't have the needed tools to do this with, and sometimes you can mess more up trying to repair one than it worth,i think if i was you id have it done ,good luck either way on it,i hope this help,s.

I would replace them all .Inner and outer,on both sides.
I agree with George K!!!!!!!!!!!!
How could a car that new need tie rods all ready? Does the car make any sounds when you get out of the drive way do you feel any thing in the steering wheel when you go over a bump?

I'm just asking this because I have a 1992 Chevy Lumina with 124,500 miles on it and the whole car still has all the original suspension and steering parts and it still drives like new. I would check with another mechanic just to be on the safe side. I've had mechanics try to rip me off to. If they see somebody that looks like they don't know anything about cars then they will try to get as much money out of you as they possibly can.(not saying all mechanics just the shady ones)
