What is making my tires squeak?

I have a 1998 Plymouth Neon Expresso. It has been looked after very well since i got it. Other than normal Neon problems, the only other problems that i have had is with the intake which i need to fix (filter i believe it was, causing Service Engine Light to come on) and a water pump bust causing damage to the heads (had heads rebuild). While getting it inspected last year, i had to get the tie rod changed. Not long after that i started hearing a slight squeak coming from what i can only assume to be the tires. At low speeds the squeak is slow and periodic. At higher speeds (30mph and up) it is a squeak that is louder and more constant. My husband thought it was something to do with the steering because he thought it stopped when the steering wheel was turned a certain way but it doesn't do that for me. Does it whether its cold or hot. Can anyone please tell me what could be making the squeaking noise?

that could also be a bad wheel bearing causing that too happen to it,they will do the exact same thing yours is doing when they start getting bad,and it could also be the brake pads causing this too happen,or the front end is really bad out of alignment,you,ll notice a lot of wear on the tires if this is the case though.id have it checked,you need to know whats causing it and we cant see the vehicle,good luck.

Brakes make a scraping sound, bearings a squeak. If I were you, I'd take it back to the place that worked on your tie rod, tell them what you said here.

They'd probably put it on a hoist and check it out for free. Simply turning the tire while it was on the hoist should be enough.

Is your car lubed when you get an oil changed (some don't need it)? If so, maybe that's all you need.
Try inflating your tires to about 35psi. IF that dont work, maybe its time for a wheel alingment.
They did do a front end aliment after the tie rod replacement?? As the tire might not be running straight%26gt;
brake pads or cv joint axle ...you know driving with a warning light is not so smart if you dont know what it is then best you stop and have someone check you know it is a warning of thing to come.. you want real answers go to a shop we will just be guessing here squeaking from front end will be brake pads most likely but also could be cv joint of wheel bearing both not wise to keep driving it so start looking for a shop will cost you much less than a tow truck and repairing the damage you do when the wheel falls off
